BARU Ulus Vocational School Unites on the Pitch: Smart Infrastructure and Land Registry Programs Face Off in Friendly Match

Bartın University (BARU) Ulus Vocational School continues to strengthen solidarity between students and faculty members through social and sports activities alongside its academic curriculum.
Within this scope, students and faculty members from the Smart Infrastructure Technicianship Program and the Land Registry and Cadastre Program came together for a friendly football match held on October 21, 2026, in Bartın. Lecturer Taha Öz guided the Smart Infrastructure Technicianship squad, while Asst. Prof. Dr. Eren Gürsoy Özdemir took to the field alongside students representing the Land Registry and Cadastre Program.
The match, played on a local astroturf pitch, was marked by high energy, exciting moments, and exceptional sportsmanship from kick-off to the final whistle. Following a spirited and competitive contest, unity and camaraderie emerged as the true winners above any scoreline. After the match, players from both teams congratulated one another and posed for a commemorative photo. Emphasizing that the event offered students a welcome break from their rigorous academic schedules while reinforcing bonds across departments, the faculty members stated that similar social and athletic initiatives would continue in the coming period.
