"A Professional Seminar on Working Life in Land Registry and Cadastre Directorates" Held.
During the XXIIIrd Professional Talks organized by our Vocational School, a seminar titled "Working Life in Land Registry and Cadastre Directorates" was held, featuring graduates Cihan Ünlü and Gökhan Karakurt, Land Registry and Cadastre Technicians working at the Bartın Land Registry Office.
The land registry and cadastre organization is one of the longstanding and significant institutions of the state, responsible for executing property transaction and registration procedures as well as cadastre activities related to immovable properties.
During the event, participating students were informed about the advantages and disadvantages of working in Land Registry and Cadastre Directorates, the job description of land registry and cadastre technicians, the types and frequency of transactions conducted at the directorate, and common challenges encountered in the working life. Cihan Ünlü stated, "As graduates of the Land Registry and Cadastre program at Ulus Vocational School, we are individuals knowledgeable and skilled in property registration and basic mapping applications. Additionally, through the courses we have taken, we have adapted to practical training and developed in the legal dimension of land registry and cadastre, keeping up with current technologies in the field." Gökhan Karakurt added, "Land Registry and Cadastre offer opportunities to work both in the office and in the field. Depending on your interests, you students can choose which direction you want to evolve in your profession."
At the end of the event, Associate Professor Dr. Şükrü Teoman GÜNER, the Director of Ulus Vocational School, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to thank Mr. Cihan and Mr. Gökhan, both our graduates and employees of the Bartın Land Registry Office, for their valuable contributions and important information shared during our seminar." Associate Professor Dr. Şükrü Teoman GÜNER presented a certificate of appreciation to Cihan Ünlü and Gökhan Karakurt, concluding the session.
